Charles “Chuck” M. Roslof serves as the Secretary of the Wikimedia Endowment, providing governance support and ensuring the Endowment’s legal and organizational integrity. He is also Principal Legal Counsel at the Wikimedia Foundation, where he oversees the global trademark portfolio, supports the Board of Trustees, and advises teams working across grant-making, fundraising, and the Wikimedia affiliate network. Chuck works on matters involving copyright, licensing, and public policy. He joined the Foundation’s legal team in 2015 and holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. in Computer Science, with minors in linguistics and Japanese, from Georgetown University.
